The only true religion — Christianity's claim — Ramakrishna — Rejected — 26 Sept 1884 Friday
"It is not good to feel that my religion alone is true and other religions are false. The correct attitude is this: My religion is right, but I do not know whether other religions are right or wrong, true or false. I say this because one cannot know the true nature of God unless one realizes Him" (The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, ISBN 0911206019, 1942, 1992, ch.29 p.558)
Original Sin
—
Christianity's hypothesis
—
Ramakrishna — Rejected — 19 Oct 1884 Sunday
Concept of original sin is at the very foundation
of Christianity. Shri Raam'Krishn' strongly disapproved it
(refer Gospel, ch.32 p.627)
No Salvation without Christianity — Christianity's claim — Ramakrishna — Rejected — 19 Oct 1884 Sunday
Christianity does not permit you attain salvation
through your own efforts; instead, makes it mandatory that Jesus be the
sole mediator between man and God. It claims that if you become
Christian then only you go to heaven. It warns that if you die without
becoming Christian you go to Hell, and rot there till eternity. Shri
Raam'Krishn' never accepted this claim. He explained, Hindooism
teaches that anyone, through his own efforts and guru's guidance, can
attain Moksh' and become Jeevan' Mukt', which is the goal[1]
of every soul (refer Gospel, ch.32 p.629)
Hindooism alone is the eternal religion — other religions will not last forever — Ramakrishna — Asserted — 19 Oct 1884
"The Hindu religion alone is the Sanatana Dharma. The various creeds you hear of nowadays have come into existence through the will of God and will disappear again through His will. They will not last forever. Therefore I say, 'I bow down at the feet of even the modern devotees.' The Hindu religion has always existed and will always exist" (Gospel ch.32 p.642)
God in heaven created world
—

—
Ramakrishna — Rejected — 19 & 26 Oct 1884 and 9 Aug 1885
