This is offline UPS. It gets charged completely only when the UPS is kept OFF with Main Power Supply ON.
It is necessary to charge the UPS by keeping the UPS OFF with Mains ON for 7 - 8 hrs everyday.
Night time may be preferred when it is not in use.
