Age 56 — this photograph dates back to 17 September 2008. It's a studio shot taken at the insistence of V. Sundaram, IAS (Retd.), who wanted to publish a review of my book They Impeached Humanity. Until then I never gave my photograph in my books or at my web site because I felt, it would amount to self-propagation. But Sundaram argued that an image helps reader to relate better with the author. Finally, I gave up to his insistence and went to a studio to get myself photographed for the first time since I started writing books.

this
unedited photo was taken at home using old Nokia 6010 mobile phone. Using a data cable the
image was transferred to computer as it is. No editing was done on computer. It was taken by
me in January 2007 by holding the mobile camera lens towards me.

However, a current photo will look more like the one at age 57
