This is called a Thumbnail. If we click on this image anywhere
it will lead us to the file that contains the full size picture. In this manner the web page remains
lighter and loads faster. The page also looks neater. At the same time,
visitor retains the choice whether to, or not to, view the full size picture.
Archived / Ignore
It has a blue border around it. This blue border has been retained only to convey that this
image is also linked to another file.
The blue link surrounding the picture works much the same way as does
a blue link that underlines any text matter, for instance,
HTML Links: change
color with mouse over.
This underlined text matter leads to another
web page where the process has been fully described.
When you place your mouse on the thumbnail the blue border changes color
to orange. This conveys us that the thumbnail is attached to the full size
image. And, all you need is a click to open that.
