How do I figure out correct meaning of technical terms and difficult words used at this site?

10 Oct 2010

We will come across such English words throughout this web site that are not frequently used by many people whose mother-tongue (first language) is not English.

In such situation we may tend to perceive some meaning simply looking at the context but the perception that we form may or may not necessarily be correct.

In some other situations if it turns out to be too difficult for a guess work, we simply skip it and proceed but we won't pull up the dictionary and look for the meaning.

As this web site predominantly deals with some significant religions, many a technical terms specific to those religions, unless defined will fail to convey the purpose author has.

Considering these factors, I have chosen to show the dictionary meanings of such words in the notes area of the web page, or sometime in the glossary section with appropriate link so that you can refer to the correct meaning and thus, make better use of this web site and what I have to convey. (see Update 30 Oct 2010)

I have tried to use simple language as far as possible. However, at times in flow of thoughts I might use difficult language as I rarely get time to review my works, and see what needs to be changed. I hope you will bear with me in such situations though I shall try to take as much care as possible to keep the things simple.

Update 30 Oct 2010

I have gradually increased the use of glossary as it saves time in comparison to using the notes area.
