That dreaded word “Caste”
• What is your image about Hinduism? Isn’t it that they follow Caste System?
• And when the very thought of caste system comes to your mind how do you feel? Don’t you feel
as if the Hindu society practiced “gross injustice” towards its own people?
• To top it, you are also told that the so-called Untouchables form the largest part of Hindu
society.
• In other words, it conveys to the world that Hindus practiced an “inhuman” form of “social
injustice” against its very own, and the largest segment, of the society which is the direct
result of the “Teachings of Hinduism”.
And what is your impression about present day disintegration in the Hindu society?
This is how you feel -
• “Look at the disintegrated Hindu society of today! It is nothing but the direct result of
oppressive tactics practiced by the Hindu society against its own people - that is why the Hindu
society is disintegrating.”
Thus, you begin to find fault with what relates to yourself
• The result - no one tries to find out if there is any other reason, and that too, entirely
of an external nature, and to top it a reason that is conspiratorial in nature.
• You Hindus have been methodically “trained to find fault always within your own system” so
that your sight does not stray towards any external enemy; so that you keep treating your own
systems as the biggest and the only enemy!
• You have been made the victim of “Cultivated Ignorance”.
Wouldn’t you want to know -
• What was Hindu society like?
• Was it truly as oppressive as it is made out to be?
• What were your ancestors like?
• Were they worthy of being proud of?
• Or, would you rather be ashamed of them?
